ISE meets Architecture

Integrated Systems Europe is the largest trade fair for AV and electronic system integration. Supported by the three professional associations, CEDIA®, InfoComm International® and NSCA®, ISE provides information concerning the entire spectrum of application in the industry. An extensive supporting programme with conferences and seminars adds to the overall offer and provides those people visiting the trade fair with the possibility of further improving their skills and the opportunity to hold discussions with experts in the field.

The demands for solutions within the field of system integration are constantly changing and, therefore, an interchange with users is of significant importance to ascertain what the market needs. The ISE recognises how important it is for constructive cooperation between users and manufacturers. In order to promote the innovation process even further. And to show potential groups of users how current and future technologies can be implemented expediently. This ranges from the planning of events up to intelligent building solutions. Control systems, audiovisual and electronic solutions for, and in, domestic and business premises can be integrated most effectively and utilised more efficiently if they are planned by an architect. This makes it necessary not only to provide the user from the building industry with information, but to train them as well.

IS Europe in Amsterdam and the Peter Behrens School of Architecture in Düsseldorf have been working together since the beginning of 2007 with the aim of providing architects with stimuli as to how they can utilise AV and electronic system integration. The ISE and the PBSA want to initiate a discussion within the industry to provide architects with the chance to participate actively in the development process.
